This box is made from Holly with Ebony and Bloodwood inlay and Ebony and Holly keys. The box was designed with a four corner grain match. The dimensions are approx. 5 x 3x 2 3/4" tall. It has no finish on the inside. The outside is finished with shelac applied with a French polish technique and the whole thing buffed out with Canuba wax. Hinges are minature barrel hinges and the lid will stay open at 95*. The liner is a soft velvet type material.
