This box is made from figured western Big Leaf Maple with western Big Leaf Maple burl top panel. It was made with a four corner grain match allowing the grain to flow around the box smoothly. The dimensions are 6" x 4" x 2" tall. It was finished with a drying oil on the inside and outside. The outside is finished with shellac using a french polish technique and then buffed out with Caranauba wax. The lid is a lift off type. The liner is a velvet type material.
