This box is made from Bolivian Rosewood. It was made with a four corner grain match allowing the grain to flow around the box smoothly. The outside dimensions are 6" x 4" x 4 1/4" tall. The inside features a tray that rides on rails and provides two 1/2" deep storage areas. There is also 1" of storage under the tray. It was finished with a drying oil on the inside and outside, wet sanded to 1000 grit. The outside is finished with shellac using a french polish technique and then buffed out with Caranauba wax. Hinges and clasp are made by Brusso and the hinges are self stopping at 90*. The liner is a black velvet type material.
