This box is made from Curly Koa with a Mango top panel. The inlay and keys are made from Macadamia. It was made with a four corner grain match allowing the grain to flow around the box smoothly. The outside dimensions are 6 " x 4 " x 2 3/4 " tall. It was finished with a drying oil on the inside and outside, wet sanded to 800 grit. The outside is finished with shellac using a french polish technique and then buffed out with Caranauba wax. The hinges are a minature barrel type and the box opens to 85°. The liner is a velvet type material.
