This box is made from eastern curly Maple with matched western Big Leaf Maple
burl top panel. The inlay on the top panel and keys are Walnut. It was made with
a four corner grain match allowing the grain to flow around the box smoothly.
The dimensions are 19 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 8" tall. It was finished with a drying
oil on the inside. The outside is finished with shellac using a french polish
technique and then buffed out with Caranauba wax. Hinges are made by
Brusso and are self stopping at 90*. The liner is a synthetic suede
and will not tarnish silver.
