This box is made from curly Koa with a Macadamia Nut top panel and keys. It was designed with a four corner grain match allowing the grain to flow around the box smoothly. The dimensions are approx. 8 3/4"x 4 3/4" with 4 3/4" overall height. It was finished with a drying oil on the inside and outside. The outside was finished with shellac using a french polish technique and then buffed out with Caranauba wax. The hinges are made Brusso and are self stopping at 90°. This box is incredibly beatuiful as it shimmers with a golden hue when moved in the light.
