This box is made from Alder with a figured western Maple top. It was designed with a four corner grain match allowing the grain to flow around the box smoothly. The dimensions are approx. 6 x 6 x 2 3/4" overall height. It was finished with a drying oil on the inside and outside. The outside is finished with shellac using a french polish technique and then buffed out with Caranauba wax. The liner is a synthetic suede material. The lid is a lift off style.
